Benchmade Griptilian - Benchmade's Best All-Around Cutting Knife

The benchmade griptillian is one of Benchmade's most well-known models, and for really great purpose. The Griptilian was my initial great folder and, boy, did I pick a good one to start with! The blade is 3.4" long with a decently wide belly. It's not an enormous knife, but is big sufficient to complete the job. Although I favor a slightly bigger knife for some tasks, the Grip is as big as the law permits in numerous states and may do whatever you'll need it to do. Steel is 154CM, which was the first greater end stainless that I had utilized.

The modified drop point was great, though I actually have a slight preference to get a a lot more typical drop point shape. Even so, it almost certainly worked also, or even better, for my purposes than a regular drop point would have.

The handles do really feel a little inexpensive and light, however they nevertheless really feel excellent in the hand and did the job well. The Grip worked well for everything that I asked it to complete. The size was about perfect for pocket carry as most of the time, I put on jeans, so I can effortlessly carry virtually any size knife comfortably. Even with dress pants, the fit was great.

The Axis Lock was wonderful - easily the very best lock type that I've used (and there is not far more fun than flipping it open and closed). The 154CM steel held an edge far better than any knife that I had owned. While any stainless steel will rust beneath the correct conditions, I had no trouble with rust spots at all, and I sweat a lot when operating. My friends could not believe how sharp it was out of the box. I asked it to complete some jobs that a pocket knife actually shouldn't need to do, and it did them easily.

The only reason that I do not have the Grip now is because I lost it at my church's perform day, and I could have cried when I realized that it had disappeared. The knife isn't cheap, comparatively, but properly worth the price and I want to get another one as soon as you possibly can! It will be one of my best options to get a excellent medium folder. The Griptilian is big sufficient to do the job without obtaining in the way or interfering with travel. If you would like a great multipurpose knife, get a Grip!
