"Dark Side" can be a song by American recording artist Kelly Clarkson, written by busbee and Alexander Geringas, and given by Greg Kurstin. The song was launched by RCA Records on June 5, 2012 as a third single from Clarkson's fifth album, Stronger. "Dark Side" is actually a mid-tempo synthpop song that contains a vigorous music box melody with up-tempo beats in choruses, featuring its lyrics containing the theme of acceptance, recovery, and inner-beauty. "Dark Side" has gotten generally positive reviews from musical critics who considered the song like a good successor to "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", Clarkson's previous single.
