Critical Point

Critical Point: Incursion is really a standalone game created with Epic Games' Unreal Development Kit.

It has been produced by Dominating Studios. A team of more than 30 volunteers from all over the world.

They are doing it just for fun in order to grow further into the gameindustry using the experience, portfolio items and ingame credits they get.

The start was made around the Unreal 3 engine. But at the end of 2009 we switched to Unreal Development Kit and made a fresh start and improved everything.

Incursion is a semi-realistic, arcade-like first-person shooter combining tactical gameplay with arcade-style speed.Utilising a multitude of modern weaponry and set in fantastically rendered locations, the Mercenaries and Special Forces meet in a critical point!

Inside a rush-based mode as seen in first-person shooters for example CoD4, Battlefield 3, Counter Strike and also to:AoT, teams are given level-specific objectives in round-based scenarios!

CP:I is aimed at a sizable player base, offering an enormous platform for competitive clan and league play, allowing individuals to shine and capture their glory it doesn't matter how several hours they have played. It accentuates skill vs luck, aiming vs spraying, etc.

We differ from the competition by having no unlockables, no RPG's, no claymores, no tanks, jets or other vehicles. No spotting of enemies, no gimmicks affecting reloading, no influence on aiming, and no movement hit penalties when shot!

Just PURE infantry combat action!!

Our unique hitpoint system helps make the game attractive for clan and league players. Single shot and semi automatic weapons do far more damage than automatic weapons.Their effective range can also be greater.

You are able to only kill someone with 1 headshot with a rifle forum.

A skilled player can kill a,,sprayer" with a few well aimed shots from a Desert Eagle.

Unless the initial hitpoint system, it's not hard to die in a moment.

You've just got the small bit the needs to make rushing posible. Rather than long boring camp situations.

There is also no respawning!

A as soon as we are rushing towards our first Beta and after years of effort, things are finally uniting.

Our weapon animators make our weapons come to life and our coders are putting them ingame and therefore are tweaking them.
