Hakan Ferhatoglu  was born in Turkey.He graduated from Robert College Istanbul (highschool) in 1980 and then took his BS in BA in 1984 and his MBA in 1987 from Boston University,Massachusetts.After living and working in New York for a few years he returned back to Turkey to start working for the family holding which founded and partially owned Chrysler Corp. Turkey among other investments.

In the early 90's Mr. Ferhatoglu founded Nutra Slim and co founded Meksa Securities and played an important role in pioneering products and services in capital markets. Since 2000 he has been an active board member of Yuksel Holding whose core business is international general contracting,land development and energy.

He is currently acting as the Chairman of Ata Invest Dubai, a subsidiary of Ata Invest, the largest independent investment banking house in Turkey, with a special mandate to help grow Ata Dubai as a regional player whose main mission is to bridge between tier-1 entities with business and investment opportunities in Turkey and the G.C.C.

He is also an executive boardmember of Ata Construction and land development ,a reputable firm advising,co-investing and co-developing Real Estate in Turkey with G.C.C. investors/developers.
