How to Keep Your Garden Clean

An important part of gardening includes making the effort to keep it clean and tidy. If you want your garden to be beautiful, you must include cleaning in your weekly gardening regime. Below are a few tips on how you can keep your outside space looking clean, tidy and in full bloom.

Throw away trash

The first step in keeping your outside space clean is the most obvious step. To keep it beautiful, you must throw away the trash. Whether it bags from fertilizer or old broken flower pots make sure they make it to the trash. Don't let trash ruin the visual appeal of your lawn or flower beds.

Start a compost pile

Many gardens are full of old plants, leaves, stems, etc. that are pulled from the earth or fall from the trees. This can quickly bring down the visual appeal of your exterior. For this problem, begin a compost pile in another area of the yard. When you trim or weed, place the excess in the compost pile. This will help keep them away from your Garden Centre and also provide you with healthy soil during the next planting season. Fruit, vegetables, stems, leave, etc can all go into the compost pile. Become an avid composter for your garden's sake.
