This may sound counter intuitive, but multiple studies have revealed that short routines with heavier weights are far more effective than long routines with lighter ones. In fact, most of the people who use turbulence training only work out three days a week, for thirty minutes on each of those three days. Those thirty minutes typically consist of five minutes of warming up, ten minutes of strength training, and ten minutes of interval training. Even though the workouts are short, because they use such heavy weights, they are very intense.

The interval training portion of turbulence training mostly consists of something called body weight cardio. These are exactly what they sound like; cardio exercises which make use of your body weight itself in order to provide the necessary resistance in order to render the exercises effective. Because you can do these exercises at home, they save you a lot of time (and money) over joining a gym.
