Sell this junk to NPC vendors and it will begin to add up, little by little. In fact, with a little luck, you could make enough for your level 40 mount just using this trick through normal leveling.

2. Leveling Crafting Professions Too Early. This is the biggest "duh" World of Warcraft Gold Tip I discovered after a year or so of wasting money. To combat this, Blizzard has implemented several changes to their system to allow players to accumulate more gold quickly. The most prominent of these changes has been the increase in Gold rewards from Quests. This is especially true at later levels and after you get to level 70.

What happens at 70 you ask? Well after level 70 every quest you complete rewards you Gold (lots of it) instead of experience. There are also new daily quests you can complete everyday for even more Gold.
